How does a man tie a windsor not, when he has an 18" neck, without looking like Stan Laurel?

The narrow end of the ties are NEVER long enough, and you end up with a short tail to the tie, and a 6" gap between your tie and the top of your trousers.

Is there a range of ties which are around 170cm in length, rather than the usual 150cm?

Hi Wayne,

We've actually just released a range of Extra Long Ties - they're 10cm longer than our normal tie - you can read our blog about them here: http://community.tmlewin.co.uk/blogs/posts/introducing-extra-long-ties

Thanks for replying Dan. Will there be any expansion in the range of the extra long ties?

I particularly like the striped ties, with the combination of broad and narrow stripes, also the barber stripes.

Hi,

We don't have any expansion scheduled - mainly because we've only just launched them. But if there's a demand, we'll look into creating some more!

This is totally wrong.  You don't turn up your collar at all.

A good shirtmaker will tell you keep you collar down, tie your button, then complete the knot.

Hi, all

Wayne, is that the tie is too short even tied in the longest possible?

So you can put the tail of the tie between two buttons at the top of your shirt.

Cordialy.
