Wedding Guest
As a wedding guest, don’t feel compelled to wear a black suit – you’re not at a funeral or a stiflingly formal event – so don’t be afraid to wear something befitting of a celebration.
Importantly, always wear a crisp shirt. White is traditional, but depending on your suit and the particular wedding, you can get away with a light pastel colour.
A plain tie is the best option, an Ottoman or a satin, nothing too bright or busy – you don’t want to be detracting from the bride and groom if you get into any of the photos!
Crucially, always wear a clean suit. It’s a good idea to buy a lightweight suit at the beginning of summer and use it for the entirety of the wedding season. Mentioned above, it’s a good idea to stay clear of black suits – a great summer option is our Wentworth.
Then why not add a handkerchief to your suit, it’s fun and adds a dash of flair to your outfit.
