We are getting close to that time of year again when we men can dress up, with the excuse that it’s for a special occasion without fear of ridicule or questioning of our masculinity.

Why is it that wearing a tie makes you feel different?

Our office is quite a creative environment so our dress code is a cross section of extreme casual to very formal – depending on the area of work and the weather of course.  My job necessitates me to work with both highly creative teams as well as attending more formal meetings with external colleagues where the dress code is quite prescribed.
